Workshop Reception

The workshop reception will take place in the Kontaktraum of TU Wien. This festive room is located on the sixth floor and features a nice terrace from which you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. During the workshop reception, drinks and finger food will be served.

Mayor’s Reception

On Tuesday, the Mayor’s Reception will be held at the City Hall (Rathaus), located in the center of Vienna. The City Hall is one of the most beautiful buildings in Vienna and serves as the seat of both the mayor and the city council of the city of Vienna. It was designed by Friedrich von Schmidt and built between 1872 and 1883. The distinctive Gothic style of the City Hall with its magnificent and fabulous halls provides the perfect setting for the conference reception.

Conference Party

The Conference Party will take place in the impressive Kuppelsaal at TU Wien. The Kuppelsaal is in main TU Wien building, which is the same building as the conference venue for the main conference. During the conference party, drinks and warm buffet will be served.

Conference Banquet

The Conference Banquet will take place in the impressive Natural History Museum. The dinner location is in the upper dome hall, which is on the first floor at the heart of the Natural History Museum. The famous architects Gottfried Semper and Carl von Hasenauer envisaged a ‘cathedral of the sciences‘ here. Their ambition is realized in this space. The extraordinary décor of the main dome translates a love of art and nature in equal measure, and the elegance of this place breathes the spirit of the time.

You can reach the conference banquet by foot (approx. 17min) or by taking any of the tram lines 71, 1, 2 or D from Karlsplatz to Ring/Volstheater (direction Schottenring, approx. 15min). The Natural History Museum is a short walk of approx. 4 min from the station.
